Loved this book. It's fast, dirty and brilliantly written. Plus, it's only 99c for this week! Go get it!

Blurb

James Williams, happily married man and famous writer, has been harboring fantasies featuring his stepson’s girlfriend for a while.

Beth Knowles has been insanely attracted to her boyfriend’s stepfather since the first time she saw him.

When the two finally give in to their forbidden passion, they expect it to be a one-time thing, no feelings involved.

They’re wrong.

Through nine sexual encounters, develops a relationship that should never have existed.

NOTE:
This book was previously published under my old pen name. Parts of the story have been changed, and it's been reedited, but it's up to you whether you want to purchase it again if you've read the previous version.

Passionate deals with Taboo subjects. What's more, the main characters are not nice. They let their desires rule them. They cheat and lie and don't really care about the feelings of others or the consequences, unless those directly affect them.

Excerpt
“You didn’t get your beer.”

He could hear her coming closer. “Changed my fucking mind.”

“Mr. Williams?” she called out when he was half-way up the stairs.

With a sigh, he paused and glanced back at her. “What?”

She ran upward and stopped just one step below him. “Why don’t you like me?”

The question threw him, and he turned to face her.

“Why don’t you like me?” she asked again. “Everyone else does, but you’re always growly and rude and…why?”

She was giving him the puppy-eyed look, and he felt sick to his stomach by the things he wanted to do to someone so innocent. “You’re being silly.” He made to leave, but she grabbed his arm and climbed to the step next to him.

“What is it about me that pisses you off?” she asked, suddenly sounding older. “If you just give me a chance, I’m sure you’ll see I’m really a sweethea—”

“I don’t want to give you a chance.” His mouth was suddenly dry.

She narrowed her eyes, still not letting go of his arm. “Why?”

He couldn’t take it any longer. Couldn’t take her lips so close to his. Couldn’t stand how her fingers burned his skin, how he could see down her cleavage.

He grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her harshly against him. “Liking you would end up with me balls-deep inside you, and you screaming my name,” he said in a rough whisper. “Is that what you want?”

BOOK REVIEW of Passionate by Sotia Lazu

I will say this. If you don’t like cheating, dirty, kinky sex and roleplay, this won’t be your thing.

For me, I loved it. The age difference between the characters is the first thing that struck me. He’s older, and he’s hot. Who could resist.

The author leads you into a world where you can have what you want. The forbidden. The wrong. The morally corrupt. This is not a nice story. It’s the right amount of nasty and naughty and I couldn’t stop reading it.

The characters are vivid and incredibly flawed as far as morals go. They are creatures led by lust first, selfish need and insecurity fuelling their desire for one another until their lives are consumed by it.

You don’t want to feel sorry for someone who ruins his family over some pretty young thing, but I felt sorry for James. Lazu’s writing makes you want to hate him and then spins it around and makes you love him, makes you understand him. And I found myself excusing him and hoping he got the girl.

Maybe this makes me a bad person :P

Don’t get me wrong, there are cute moments amidst the emotional manipulation and sexual games and it made the relationship so much more real, to see this couple go through the extremes of their emotions and deal with the consequences of what they’ve done.

Add into that, heap-loads of graphic sex and you have a tense, erotic story that you fly through.

I awarded it 4 Throbbing Hearts and a heat rating of Straight To Hell

Author Bio

Sotia cries at sappy movies and wishes she could take in all the stray dogs in the world. She lives in Athens, Greece, with her husband--whom she met through writing--their son, and their two rescue dogs, one of which might be part-pony.

Her genres of choice are romances with a twist and urban fantasy novels, always with vivid erotic elements. Her characters aren't exactly hero-material at first glance; she likes making them fight for their happiness. Still, the romantic in her can’t resist happy endings.
